Stop and Smell the Fresh Cut Grass

Sometimes I get so caught up in my busy schedule that I forget to enjoy what is going on around me. During my senior year, I am realizing now that I have a limited amount of time left at Stonehill, and I really want to make sure that I savor every moment. I know that a year from now, I will give anything to go back to where I am right now. I want to make sure that I don’t miss out on anything, meaning that I am making a strong effort to be super involved, attend all the events that I can, and enjoy Stonehill as much as possible.

As always, academics come first, but I think that it is important to be a part of the community and to enjoy my surroundings as much as possible. A year from now, I wont have my best friends all in the same house every night. This is something that I think applies to everyone at Stonehill now: enjoy where you are and who you are with. This place is truly special, and no matter how stressed, tired, or annoyed you can get, you will miss it when you leave.
